Description

Nestled near the foothills, and not far from a murmuring brook in the center of North Branford is a library. It's simple colonial architecture is most fitting, for it stands on the historic training ground of colonial times, and was built as a memorial to the Reverend Charles Atwater, pastor of the North Branford Congregational Church from 1809 to 1825. It is the outstanding building in the town and as one drives through the little New England village the eye is caught by its symmetry and charm.
