On the opposite wall, between the two entrance ways, hangs a picture of the Rev. Charles Atwater. Beneath are rows of classics, also the gift of Mr. Charles B. Atwater. To the right of the entrance way is a book truck on which are placed the newest books, or books of special interest for adults. To the left is the dictionary, and beneath are books reserved by request. Hanging on the side walls of the entrance way are "The Magna Carta" and a scene in the Congressional Library, also the gifts of Mr. Charles B. Atwater.
